I didn't, but I did touch a female this morning. So I feel like I'm winning in the race against these nerds.
ETA: And I play video games. But I don't camp out for 7 days for the newest one.

I couldn’t tell you what a Switch 1 is, much less waited in line to get a Switch 2

I mean...haven't there always been crowds of people waiting for the new game machines?
Doesn't seem special. There's obviously a market for them and parents are gonna buy them for their kids.
I can think of worse lines to be in.
ETA: I'm not in this line. I work 6 days a week. But I'm not gonna begrudge someone on how they spend their cash

I'm so behind. I don't know what a steam deck is and I thought the switch one was just fine. I got the new Mario party to play with them earlier this year.
What makes this switch 2 so much better?

Our company's Gen Mgr pre-ordered it a few months ago. It was delivered to his front porch at 5:30 this morning. He was a bit surprised to hear footsteps on his porch so early and he damned near shot the delivery driver! His kids are already playing on it. Seems like a good thing for kids to have on a rainy day when they can't go out and fish or swim in the river out back.
