That reminds me, last time I got my car wash, I had no cash, so I tipped the little Hispanic lady in quarters. I felt so poor.

Yeah it's been awhile and no end it sight here too. My place will wash the outside again free if it rains within 24 hours though. But with rain forecasted through next Tuesday, I'm not rushing to get over there.

We keep the cars pretty clean.

She might even be better about it than me.

It missed a couple days of rain, but it was overcast. Puddles don't dry and nasty overspray gets all over it. That is worse than the rain.

Car looks like the truck from Tobacco Road.

I'm not the one who made the statement I quoted.

That would be you.

I consider myself very lucky that I don’t. Not because the wife and I make a lot of money, but mostly because I’m not a financial fricking idiot. Wife and I both drive used vehicles. She doesn’t need a 16 passenger 60k Suburban so she can run over shite and hit curbs while she works out in the middle of the day and shops at TJ Max in River Ranch in LuLu pants. And I don’t need a 70k F250 so I can look cool to all my other frat buddies whose dad’s also left them the family business after they graduated ULL with a 2.2 in business, who collectively get mad and post of Facebook about how unfair the oil business is and how everyone should feel sorry for them.

Then I don’t go buy a 20k boat, 15k side by side, and 60k camper to use each twice per year.

My bad. Considering you're literally the same poster.

Both of you are Mr. Perfect with a slightly better vocabulary.

I’m mid twenties and just started my own business a few months ago. I have enough savings to last me a good while but am nervous what this’ll do to me over the next few months.

Time will tell

I have some money I can play with, but going unpaid would be very stressful. I’m just starting out with a new house. I haven’t had time to build a safety nest egg.
