Kids who have been handed shite their entire life are usually who you find in these threads. You've earned way more from life than they have.

I used to live paycheck to paycheck. It sucked and I would never look down on someone for it.

I’m in a much better position financially than I have been in a long time. It required downsizing house, got a company car/sold my car, paying down debt.

The only time I spend some decent money is to go on a vacation, which that probably won’t happen for awhile.

But I know the struggle. There were times I would just ask “why me?” Went to grad school, knee deep in debt, couldn’t land a job I was qualified for. Every time a door would open, it would shut in my face. I hope you guys keep your head up and keep fighting.

Yes. Something like 69% of the American population is supposed to live paycheck to paycheck.

I've always wondered exactly how "living paycheck to paycheck" can be defined for a study though.

If your pockets are hurting in Trump’s America (before this week), that’s 100% on you

First it’s not the fat orange bastard’s America. The US has been on an upward economic swing for 11 years. Second, many of the jobs created have not been high paying jobs. The minimum wage is not a living wage. Income inequality is growing not shrinking. Wages have risen less than modestly.
All of this points to one thing, Americans are living off their credits cards, not their bulging wallets. That will catch up to us again.
The underlying reasons of income disparity and the shrinking middle class have not been addressed by Trump.

More so than any of his immediate predecessors though.
