How many of you live in cities/counties/parishes which are “encouraging” the use of masks?

Where emergency orders have been put into place urging all citizens to wear a face mask while out in public.

Just wondering if this is more local because of the liberal place that I live, or if this is more widespread throughout the country. Have they started fining people for not covering their faces outside of their homes anywhere? If not, how far away are we from that?

Like six cops dragging you off a subway train "encouraging" or "no mask, no service" encouraging? There's both near me.

I haven’t worn a mask once despite the advisory. But I do keep my distance from others and wear gloves.

Wore one in the store today. It was about 50/50 compliance. It’s just a recommendation in most places.

I haven't heard a PEEP out of our local officials but I see plenty of people in the grocery store with them.

It's highly recommended where in my county (and state for that matter) and most people are wearing them in public places that are still open (grocery store, banks, etc.). I see some people waking with them on but I would say like 60% of people exercise without masks.

I would say about 60/40 no masks. I'm not much of a participator. I prefer to wear one of my Trump T-shirts.

Not sure what my county recommends but I had a meeting on Friday and everyone was wearing a mask. Luckily I had one in my truck so I didn't look like a dick to my clients, one of which is in his 70s.

Fresh Market here in Daphne, AL has a sign up saying on Tuesday anyone that shops there must wear a mask. Toilet paper and paper towels are not exactly easy to come by all the time so I’m guessing mask are next to impossible to find around here. But to answer your question no I haven’t heard of anyone saying we had to wear mask.

I got so insecure about wearing a mask to stores that I quit going to stores.

Wore one today for the first time. Realized it’s one random cough. Don’t wear gloves because I sanitize my hands, keys, phone and card when I hit the truck anyway.

Well I live in the United States and according to the CDC they encourage us to wear a mask or face covering.

Super1 Foods, Breaux Bridge: Excluding employees, 10% wearing masks at best.

Due to computer issue, I had to go inside to pay for my Curbside order. Stood there looking around and honestly felt like I was in a horror movie and everyone was contaminated.
