I am not more athletic than Tom Brady.
But I am confident I would have made that catch.
Brady missing that catch is not a judgement on his athletic ability. It’s just the margin of error. Do anything 100 times and you’re likely to mess it up once. That’s what happened with the catch.
I’m not so terrible at football that I would have 10 drops out of 100. Neither is Brady. Probability just caught him on that play.
But I am confident I would have made that catch.

Brady was also drafted by the Expos out of HS. He may not be fast, but he is surely an athlete.

That seems more like a hand-eye coordination issue than an “athletic” issue.
