I'd get one, but I'm out in the sun too much. With my luck it would either fade badly and look like crap or end up inadvertently camouflaging a precancerous freckle.

I do, but their little dots on my arms and legs and chest. You can't even notice them, but I got them so when people question why I shave my arms, legs, and chest I can say so my tattoos will show and I don't come off as a douche.

I assume you've conducted an extensive study on this subject, huh Salmon?
Lots of people get tattoos because they've been through tragedies or other traumatic shite and it's actually therapeutic for them. I think a lot of people here are assuming that most people get tattoos just to look cool.

I've got a friends who has 17 on her and another friend who has her dead brothers name and Chinese symbol for love on her upper back, butterfly/tribal tramp stamp, butterfly on thumb, Irish knot on her wrist, and a butterfly/briars on her ankle.
