So no, I don't have tattoos

I have a respectable high paying job and I have lots of tats.

Just barbed wire around both biceps and a tribal stuff on my shoulders and a tramp stamp

They would and think it was a joke if we sent someone with tats to an event.

Sorry we don't have trashy clients

I have a respectable high paying job and 2 tats.

No one at work knows they are there.

Sounds like you have very immature clients.

I am in sales, have a sleeve on one arm, half on the other, one on chest, both legs as well. Never been an issue, and never once been called trashy.

I don't like to bring attention to myself so I do not.

Got one of these as well. Got it in 2nd grade religion class. Didn't realize it was this common.

I have no desire to get anything drawn on my skin. I have my opinion on people getting tattoos, but realize it's not everyone's. I just cannot wrap my head around how it is considered meaningful. Not judging, just personally don't understand it.

I think "high paying" needs to be defined in this thread.

And "respectable" while we're at it.

None for me, way under 50. I've noticed a lot of girls around my age have tats, even the supposed classier sorority brawds.

I have 1 and although it's very meaningful, I regret it.

I've got one on my left forearm and am currently working on planning half or full sleeves for my right and left arms. People saying stupid shite about it not flying in professional settings, well if you're really working in a professional environment you're probably wearing attire that covers any tattoos you have, unless you get your hands done or something.

As for being trashy, sure some can be trashy (stupid tribal shite, tramp stamps, etc.), but more often then not tattoos are used to tell a story or represent something meaningful in that person's life. That's why I got mine and why I'm getting more. Some of you are just fricking prudes.

Have 1 from 21 years ago, so I'm only a little trashy.

Ankle tats? Are you sure it's not your sorority letters? It's Ok. Must have been a special time for you, losing your V card to your college crush at the first semi formal.

Exactly.

I have a G on my right arm, have never once regretted it. It's also only visible if I'm shirtless so it's never been an issue relating to the workplace.

Got one 15 years ago between my shoulder blades. Wish I wouldn't have but at least I don't have to see it and I don't go shirtless very much. The only time people see it is when I am where you are.
