Sometimes after a hard day at work, playing with my kid, cooking dinner, getting him down and sitting waiting to go to sleep I pour myself a relaxing glass of bourbon. It's a delicious relaxing way to cap a day.
Let me ask this... why do you feel the need to be a pontificating a-hole?
Does this make you feel superior?? I personally SEE NO REASON to judge others for choices this trivial...but I'm not going to start a thread about it.

I was an every-night drinker until 3 weeks ago, today. Quit cold turkey. Not a sip since. I used it as a crutch to "help me fall asleep," but waking up with a hangover/headache finally got old and I had enough of it.

I drink anytime me an the ole lady are cooking almost anything for supper. We are both skinny and in decent shape. Zero adderall, anti depressants, or pain meds. Never used ozempic, trt, Botox, plastic surgery, hair transplants or and other form of medicinal enhancements.

Live and let live as they say. I only drink on Friday or Saturday nowadays. Even then, I am slowing down in my 40s. It has been at least a year since I’ve been what I consider drunk.
