I hit the pin on #8 U-Club 2 years ago and ball stuck at 4". Closest Ive ever come.

Club - 8 iron
Hole - #2
Yardage - 138
Where - Summerbrooke in Tallahassee
Drinks - Of course
The hardest part was keeping it together for the rest of the round knowing that the scorecard was going to get framed somewhere. Nobody wants to post a 90 with a hole-in-one. I think I shot 80 that day.

I've hit the pin twice. Once it hit hard and landed off the green. The other time was on a bounce and it landed about 4-5 feet.
I missed the putt.

I missed the putt.

I play every weekend, I'm a 4 handicap, and I haven't really even been close. Can't recall any shot on a par 3 inside of a foot.
Same here. But I have seen a guy top a three wood, have it roll through a bunker, catch the right slope, and go in. It's 95% luck, 5% skill

Something I should of added to the OP was how did the rest of the round go.

I worked at a golf course while in college. Judging by the bar tab those guys had at the end of their round, I hope I never have one.

Two. First one 160 something yds. Beauregard CC, number13, 6 iron, didn't see it but my partner did. We had bets and it paid off handsomely. Same hole my gr. Father aced. Second one 150 yds. number 17, Ft Polk GC. 7 iron.

Yep....hit it pin high with a wicked slice. So much spin it hit a jump 90° right in the hole. Rather be lucky than good.

Never but I double eagled a par 5 from 240 out once

Tyrell Park, Beaumont, TX...number 17 at the time (think it's 8 now)...had turned 16 the day before.

I was in a group playing Audubon and one of my buddies hit one.
It was his first and was on the second hardest par 3 on the course.
We stayed at the clubhouse for 3 hours after

He freaked when he got the tab.

I've had two
1st one was when I was in 8th grade. 200 yard par 3, hole # 10 at Ft.Myers Country Club. 3 iron 200 yards, lucky bounce right and rolled in
2nd one was number 10 at LSU a couple of years ago. It was playing around 170. 7 iron bounced once, hit the flag stick and dropped

The only time I've ever holed one from the tee box was for a par. 5 iron from 175, no. 7 at Koasati Pines. Shanked first shot into the water, hit 3 from the tee and holed it.

i never have, but i keep scores on my card with -1 (circled), - , 1, 2, 3's, so if it does happen it wont look that cool framed with a -2 on it. should i rewrite the card after in the event i do stick one?

Not a hole in one but an albatross.
Hole 12 at the island. 487 yard par 5.
Hit a terrible worm burner tee shot and barely cleared the little bit of water. My ball was in some rough but sitting up perfectly like it was teed up.
Hit my 3 wood from around 275 from the green. Flag was in the front.
I smashed the shot. It felt great at contact, but I lost it almost immediately. I knew it was on line though.
We looked everywhere for the ball, and I ended up playing a drop. Neither me or my buddy thought I could have reached the green. The flag was about 25 feet behind a big sand trap, so I would have had to carry the ball a good 260-270 in the air, which neither of us believed I could have done that. Did have some wind at our back, but it was hardly anything, at least I thought.
So we both hit onto the green and when my buddy took the flag out he asked me what I was shooting, knowing I hit a yellow taylormade. Couldn't believe it. Found the divet at the front of the green just past the sand trap.
While it's awesome I've got an albatross in my bag, it really sucks that I didn't see any of it.
