6' 215 here not bad for a 47 year old man who's been retired for almost 6 years.

It is... Don't try to justify it. Don't buy into fat acceptance. Be better

I was gonna say it probably isn't that bad depending on muscle mass, but since he said he doesn't lift..

Fine, don't.

Be old and fat and schlubby for he rest of your life while your wife looks at you disdainfully every day wishing you took care of yourself better.

From a pure weight loss standpoint, it isn’t more complicated.

Even form a pure weight loss point of view, your more likely to be successful if you eat in a manner where you're not hungry at a 500-1000 kcal/day deficit. Not being hungry at a caloric deficit is knowledge, and helps with the discipline needed for CICO.

Pecker is the voice we need.

I'm a little disappointed he wasn't a stronger presence in this thread.

Mingo is like a dim witted, less funny Pecker. I think Peck figured he could handle it.

All the while the guy has borderline man boobs and a mild gut. People nowadays just don’t know what a normal weight actually is.

“Normal” is being redefined constantly and in a fat direction, no doubt.

But I am 6’ 205 after being anywhere from 140-180 the rest of my adult life, and nobody would call me fat. I’m not ripped, don’t get me wrong, but having some meat on the bones just feels a lot better than being skinny and weak.

If you are 6’ 175 and strong, good for you, but we have all the supply we need of 6’ 165 skinny fat people. I think they should gain a good bit of weight and be stronger, regardless of what any chart tells them.

Bro, I'm 47 married to a woman 14 years younger than myself. She's not going anywhere. I could not possibly care less if you have a problem with my 215 lb weight

Odds are you're a total fat arse anyway

I’m 6’3”/230 and I agree that I’m overweight. My ideal weight is under 200.

Don't be surprised when she takes an extra long look at the buff 30 year old then.

And I posted a pic in this thread already. Your turn.
