IN.....there's not a lot to do with today's vehicles.

I will do just about anything that does not require pulling the powertrain. That being said, I just bought a 2019 for a daily and the damn thing is basically a rolling iphone. It has an 80K B2B warranty so if I ever try anything with it, it won't be for a while.
Agree with prior poster about changing oil. For $40, I just assume have the 5 min place do it. I don't have to buy parts, jack the car up, deal with the hazmat, etc.

I do everything except for alignments, changing tires, transmissions and the few other things that require special tools where the cost to buy the tool is greater than the repair cost at a shop. I buy cars that need a few minor things, fix them and drive them for a few years until something better comes along. Ive never had a car note either.

Nope. I like figure out and fixing things by myself. But cars have become annoying. Last thing I tried to do was change headlights on a 2011 Tahoe. When I had to take the wheel well out just to access where the lamp went, I had enough. Too many plastic snap in place things. Extremely difficult to reach things. I do well enough now that I can afford to not deal with it, so I just pay someone.

I'm currently learning (thanks to youtube and my brother-in-law). I've done smaller stuff like headlights, alternator, and belts. My BIL and I are about to do a lot of work on my engine changing lifters, gaskets, camshaft and some other things to get rid of that garbage AFM system GM put in their trucks. But I still pay other people to do my oil changes

I do some things, oil changes (unless I get coupons for cheaper than I can do myself, which happens a lot anymore), brakes, and a few other things. I'm not a teardown and rebuild person.

Checking in. My pops taught me to work on my own stuff. Getting harder these days with the way cars are built but still try to do everything I can. Saves a crap ton of money.
Same here!

I take care of the things that don't require special equipment to detect failure of parts like electronics and such. If it's a simply remove, replace, it's in my wheelhouse.
Fluid changes, water pumps, leaky gaskets, brake jobs, body and fender work, timing chains, exhaust.
Things that need multimeters or other diagnostic equipment to determine if good before replacing is out my wheelhouse. Once you buy some of these expensive parts, you own them whether you need them or not and that gets $$$$$ real fast.

Depends on the time involved and tools required. If it costs more to buy the tools than to have someone else do it, I'm not touching it.

Younger days I'd change my own oil, filters, plugs and other diy car stuff.
Now I'm afraid to open the hood
