How many modern men from cities with only spears would it take to bring down a grizzly?

Think about the ancient hunter gatherers who brought down prey this way. How many of your average city dwelling, white collar workers, would it take if you just handed them a spear to take down a full grown male grizzly? My guess is at minimum 8. At least 4 casualties

Can use those things that extend your throwing motion and hurl spears at a greater distance and velocity?

I could take down 350 six-year olds before getting tired.

I don't think we hunted Grizzlies on the reg. So much fish in north America not counting deer and bison. We avoided bears for the most part.

What is hunting?
I seriously doubt you have any idea about what hunting is. What's your non-video game experience with hunting?

Bear was actually a staple for all the meat it gave and the fat that could be used in a variety of ways. The frontier era would have been completely different without bear hunting

No training, and no bear spear. Paleolithic spear. Flint blade and all.

How many members of your inbred family would it take?

Bear is lean AF bro. And you OP is talking about spears. It's hard enough to kill a griz with a gun.

Assuming you aren’t a city dwelling white collar man, do you think you have an advantage over them in this endeavor and why?

No I’d die for sure
I grew up country as hell. But never did any spear or bear hunting of any kind. I’d rather have a big arse rifle (30-06 seems inadequate here). I wouldn’t take on a grizzly if you gave me 20 men with spears.
