I almost don’t believe you, but who would lie about no Mexican restaurants. I’m amazed there is a parish left that didn’t have one.

There is one sit down restaurant ( not counting the nice place at the gas station where you can get a quality breakfast) within 10 minutes o my house.
It is, of course, a Mexican restaurant.

It’s gotta be over a thousand if you include taco trucks & pop up street food vendors. We have lots of Mexicans in Fresno.

It’s pretty well known that Mexican restaurants are often fronts for laundering cartel money.

Roanoke VA - Restaurant laundering for Jalisco Cartel
Wyoming Mexican Restaurant accused of laundering drug money

I live in a town of 13,000, we have ten and that's within the city limits, I can think of about 5 more close to town

13 for a city of 85,000 and Just named #1 city to live in. might be a correlation there…

Running joke in Ruston is any time a new restaurant is being built. It's gotta be a Mexican restaurant.

Not enough really good ones but more is better as variety is the spice of life.

Like a couple of others said, it’s a money laundering operation for the cartels.
