How many attempts would it take you?

Hypothetical:
For $1 you get one standard 8.5" x 11" sheet of copier paper. There is a 5 gallon bucket located at midfield of the 50 yard line at the Super Dome. If you can get the piece of paper into the bucket from Sec 640, row 35, you win $1 million tax free.
How much money are you spending? And can it be done?
The small print: It must be an act of throwing, only touched by you once, no help from anyone else, no additions to the paper (water, weights, strings, balloons, drones, etc are not allowed), no mechanical devices, you cannot move once the paper leaves your hand until the piece of paper goes into the bucket, the piece of paper must remain whole, the bucket has an open top and never moves.

I'd certainly waste a 10 spot on trying.

Is this what the NFL is trying to do to get attendance back?

My odds of winning the powerball are better.

I won the paper airplane contest at an Indian Guides campout when I was in 2nd grade, so I think my chances are pretty good.

Here's a great piece of worthless intel involving the Superdome.
It would take roughly 5 million years to fill the entire dome with water from a dripping faucet. Slow day when this was figured out.
