How long till we get lockdowns for something other than COVID?

The media seems to be trying to pump up some new disease in order to impose lockdowns for it every year now. Two or three years ago, it was monkeypox. Last year, it was bird flu. This year, it was hantavirus.
The media used to do this about once every five years, like with swine flu in 2009 or 2010 and Ebola in 2014 or 2015. But now they do it every year.
How long until they actually succeed with one of these disease panics and install more lockdowns?

The MSM.
The MSM promoted COVID lockdowns because it left us with nothing to do except sit at home watching the MSM all day. Now, of course, they want more lockdowns.

The MSM didn't actually end up succeeding, but that was their goal in pushing the monkey pox, bird flu, etc. panics.

If no one's health is at risk there will never be a lockdown (well I know.. never say never), but then again, it seems like the younger generations are being groomed to be a bunch of pussies and being aggressive is "toxic masculinity".. So there will be more people less likely to push back and unable to survive on their own because if their phone ever goes out, they might lose it (their mind, not the phone).
I would think everyone learned something from Covid, but I doubt it. My question is.. How different would Covid have been if it wasn't during an election year?

Nah, it's the same as always. You are just hyper sensitized to it and assume the worst every time they report ANY disease.
For instance, every step of the way for hantavirus every article ive read talked about how they don't expect this to spread, that it doesn't spread well from person to person at all.

I had a theory that COVID was a rope-a-dope for vaccines.
It would get the conservatives to refuse ANY vaccine going forward and that’s when China will deploy a legit virus, killing off all the free-willed.
THEN they can have their way with the USA.

Because it’s a stupid buzzword that everybody says now when they don’t know whether to say “effect” or “affect”. So instead if risking making a mistake they say “impact” always. It’s a sign of low intelligence and trying to sound smart on a topic.
Not that long ago no one said “impact” with the frequency they do now.
