When do we start to see private business close due to the corona virus?

Went to Walkons today for lunch. On a Thursday with perfect weather would normally be packed for lunch. Drove up and there were three empty parking spots right in front. 2/3's of the tables were empty.
Bar was pretty crowded though

There are constitutional concerns over action like that
Posted on 3/12/20 at 6:02 pm to gsvar2004
Better not. shite like that is going to cause infinitely more problems than the virus itself

When we decide another Great Depression is worth saving 500 people

It’s up to the business owners. I am sure if any do close it will be because they don’t think it’s cost effective to stay open.

If that happens it will be community specific in towns hit harder by the virus.

The government can’t close down the private sector just like Destroya said she couldn’t cancel the Mayors Ball.

at this rate it will be pretty soon I think
went to win dixie today and they had no one to clean up a spill on isle 4
gal at register said they knew but it was just her, the manager, the assistant manager, and one new trainee cashier that came to work so no one could clean it up. I thought it was BS but then I saw the head manager was collecting baskets in parking lot and assistant manager was bagging groceries and helping the new cashier learn so she wasn't lying
my bank sent me an email today requesting customers use the ATM or drive through only and make an appt if they needed to come inside to do any business
they didn't say the doors were locked but it sounds like a stay the frick outta the building type message to me

If grocery stores start closing up, the Government will come in and run them. You can count on the Government. I'm not worried.
