Mine was 45 min each way for 25+ years, four different jobs but all about the same.

One commute I went through 27 red lights and seemed to catch every one of them every day going and coming, I'd be spitting nails mad when I pulled in the driveway.

I've been working from home for 7 years now and love it, my blood pressure is down but I'm fat a F#$K

When I did commute, it was about 4 miles. It generally took about 12 minutes to get from my back door to my desk.

12 min. to work, and I live in Atlanta!
Also, 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
I have averaged spending $90 per month in gasoline, and
that includes out of town trips.

26 miles, 35 minutes if I leave on time. Usually take River Road home to pretend I don't live in BR. Takes a little longer, but I'm not in a hurry.
