My friend hit 1 dab pen about a week ago, and smoke about 2 weeks before that

That depends on how much you smoke, how recently you smoked it and how high the concentration of THC is.

drink tons of water and go run on the treadmill in a sweatsuit every day. get yourself a $20 kit from walgreens before hand. if you are really serious, go to concentra and pay for the drug test. it costs about $70 but will let you know with 100% certainty if you are clean.

What kind of test? Is is possible or hair? How often do you smoke illegal drugs?
If you smoke 2-3 times a week, it will take about 6 weeks to piss clean.
Hair test is 3-4 months.
