Your friend, should they fail, can claim they went to a state where weed is legal and smoked a bit. Urinalysis can't nail down how recently someone smoked and no HR department is going to want to risk a potential legal battle over how inefficient their testing is.
Better yet, get a real job where they don't give a frick if you smoke.

When your friend takes his test tell him to piss first and the middle of the piss is what you wan you want in the test cup. Been thru this shite long time ago and was told the toxins are at the beginning and end of your piss and the middle is the cleanest. Pound as much water as you can possibly drink. Try to delay the test by faking an injury or suddenly become sick anything to buy more time to suck down more water. If your friend is telling the truth about his intake then he should be fine. Happy pissing !

I don’t see why your “friend” would be worried. Unless you’re an enormous fat bastard and smoke a pound a day, one week should be plenty enough time. One time use normally takes 2-3 days to get clean, a few days of smoking takes 5-7 days, heavy smokers usually take about 2 or 3 weeks.
ETA: Word of advice, a little bit of pot isn’t worth jeopardizing your livelihood over. I’ve smoked since I was 13 but had a close call recently and realized how fricked I would be if I got fired, so I decided to stop.
