I think it took my son and I like two hours. We put up a tree and decorate the mantle, so nothing too crazy.

Wife and I both focus on different parts of it and we do the tree together with the kids. Usually takes a few hours for each part

I don’t have to go to Lowe’s because half the light strands aren’t working.
Back before LED lights came out and all that was available were the old school crappy lights I would buy what I needed right after Christmas for the next year.
We have a live tree and after Christmas we would remove the ornaments and put tree and the POS lights on the street. I could buy the lights for 75% off after Christmas. The LED seem much better and I reuse them now.

Flocked pre lit fake tree and no exterior lights. So about half an hour to straighten branches, add some bulbs and ornaments and hang the stockings with care.

3-4 hours. 30 minutes to get things out, display in house, 2-3 hours for tree. Anything more than that I don’t have the energy for…

Our fake inside tree finally died after about a decade. So we had to run to Home Depot to get a new one. This morning when we took everything out, wife said we had to go to hobby lobby to get new ornaments and other assorted Christmas decorations. So it was essentially an all day affair but it’s done, outside looks great, inside is done.
Kids has a blast doing it. The older two are at an age they can actually contribute.

Takes about a half day. My tradition is to do it while watching the SEC Championship game.

We pay the yard guy to put the lights on the house. He does it a lot quicker than we could, so it’s worth the $250 not to worry about it. We do the trees and the stuff on the ground, so probably about 2-3 hours for our part. I do all of the inside by myself, but we decorate the tree as a family. Probably about 4 in total for the inside.

Our tree took all day yesterday. It’s a hell of a tree and it still needs some finishing touches. Stuff around the house will be put up a little each day.
