ASAP. Nothing pisses me off more than people sitting at a green light in traffic or slow rolling thru.

I learned over the years that Ive been the person in the front that gets distracted for a few seconds plenty of times before.

don't understand. When you are the distracted one, are you mad or something if someone snaps you out of it? I don't see the argument for not honking immediately - it's like it presumes it's some kind of crazy bad thing to hear a honk.

You’re assuming that the person that you honk at is always a rational, levelheaded headed person. There’s no guarantee of that. I’ve seen and heard of people losing their shite on people on the roads over much less than honking at them.

about a second. The longer you sit at the front the fewer people that make the light. Traffic is already bad enough without you letting fewer people thru the light because you can't be bothered to go when the light turns green.

What were you doing instead of taking your foot off the brake?
I don't understand why everyone can't take their foot off the brake at the same time. Light turns green, everyone from the first car to the 20th car take you fricking foot off the brake.

Depends on the traffic and length of light as well as the time of day. If it’s a busy light at rush hour, I’m not waiting long at all because the front car being slow might cost several cars behind them a few minutes of a busy day while they wait for the next cycle.

We rented one of the big 26 ft Penske trucks not long ago. Dude in front at the red was looking down at his phone when it turned green. Gave him a little "beep beep" from the horn on the steering wheel.
Nothing.
Above the interior of driver's door is a small air horn wire.
