How long do you stay in a 2nd marriage if it’s miserable?

My brother has been married to a woman for over 5 years and it has been constant fighting the entire time. She has zero patience, is always pissed, very possessive, jealous etc... pretty sure she is bi polar. He doesn’t want to be divorced twice though.

Honestly, I see no shame in being divorced twice...now, being in a miserable marriage twice and staying there is a different story. Seems to me that most people would not tolerate that shite for nearly as long the second time around.
