I am not one to "wear out my welcome", but I have to be aware of it because I don't want to eat, open gifts (which I don't really care about getting one) and just roll out, but what is a good time period to stay at a christmas family gathering? Would yall say 2 hrs is good? What would yall consider too long?

Guess it depends....you can get away with less time if you have to do several family Christmas's in one day.

Ex: I'm going to my parents at 9..breakfast with them and open gifts...then off to my inlaws at 12...hope to be home and on my couch in my pjs by 4-5 pm.

I am sort of like this.. It's like on Christmas day, I look forward to getting it all over with more than anything because once you get back home all the general stress of going here and make sure you have this and then going there is gone.

Stay long enough to enjoy the after dinner drinks, but leave before cousins begin lusting.

I love Christmas with my family. I’m the last to leave, but usually helping straighten up.
