Unlikely this cycle for y'all but still a possibility.
Been off BC for 26 months myself and still no luck. It just depends on the couple. For some it happens the first try, for others like myself, it requires medical intervention and an RE for a chance.

Return to fertility is typically rapid following cessation of OCPs, but there are numerous other factors to consider, including past conceptions (or lack thereof), whether or not she was consistently ovulatory prior to starting OCPs, tubal patency (past surgical history, endometriosis, & other issues that can cause tubal infertility) as well as male fertility (male factor infertility is as prevalent as female factors).
I would say off the top of my head that prob 2/3 of women ovulate first cycle off of pills and prob 85-90% are ovulatory by cycle three. The rest probably have some level of ovulatory dysfunction not specifically related to the OCP.

My wife just got off BC a month ago and she has been so moody.

Got pregnant immediately, but miscarried. Got pregnant again 5 months later, and miscarried again. Finally got pregnant again 1.5 yrs later. My son just turned 1 and we're expecting a baby girl in February.
I can tell you that stressing/trying to have a baby makes it tough.

My wife never takes it and gets pregnant at the drop of a hat. BC is evil and the downfall of Western civilization.

If she has her period two weeks ago, next week she'll probably be ovulating and will have an increased chance. But it really differs for each couple. May never happen.

We tried for a year with no luck, she took one round of clomid (sp)? and she got pregnant first try. Son will be 3 months old in a couple days.
