Try for as long as you can my friend. Depleting your head count daily will help extend the trying. It's a crap shoot, buy in my experience after baby the well went dry.

My wife just stopped 2 months ago after 12 years of BC.
We just had an ultrasound yesterday and found out, to the day, that it was from our first time...

6 months, but I think that time frame had more to do with her insisting we follow some stupid app (Ovia?) and not just go at it like rabbits every other day for a month. After the 5th month she was frustrated and I told her to just forget the app and let's try it my way. Boom. Baby.

I swear both times it was within a few weeks.

I remember her telling me that it has been known to take months after being on birth control for a long time...

All joking aside, it really varies by couple. Apparently we are both just really fertile.

You don't ovulate while you are on birth control. Her periods were due to the absence of hormones. It is probably going to take more than 2 weeks.
