It was one of the most epic collapses in sports history. It was an historical event. Not only that, but, you stole away a Defensive Coordinator from another program because you thought that this DC was totally awesome.

The ironic humor of the situation is overwhelming. If you put the plot into a movie, it would be a corny plot that nobody believed.

Many people understand this! Surely you can see all of this?

We have a good mix of SEC fans in mine, with a majority of LSU fans; even a few from other conferences (it's a large project). It's a great atmosphere. Friendly but fiercely "competitive". There were quite a few aTm fans until this week, but they've disappeared.

ETA: there are plenty of fans of other soorts, but combined they don't match the enthusiasm of college football.

My boss and I were talking bout the BYU game and what we think is gonna come of the players that were out. We also talked about what we would to see from them etc.

My workplace is 80% Ags. Also mostly Spurs fans.

At least I don't get any grief at work when tragedy strikes my beloved sports teams

The feeling they got from that game was so reminiscent of some past situations with my team, I can't even give them grief with a good conscience.

I work from home with sports channels on the teevee all day, so my work atmosphere in regards to sports is great.

3 closest coworkers are Saints season tix holders diehards and
Moderate LSU Fans. It's odd to me because I'm the opposite.

There's probably 250 people in my office and I would say that 100 are die hard Tennessee fans, another 100 are Tennessee fans just because they live in Nashville, a few Vandy fans, maybe two Florida fans, two Oregon fans, and Im the lone Georgia fan.

The colllege vs NFL thing is interesting... i grew up primarily a Saints/NFL fan.. got into LSU later, and have always loved both, but cared more about the Saints... but as I've gotten older, i find myself caring more about LSU and enjoying college football more... part of it i think is that when the Saints won the Super Bowl, it fulfilled everything i ever wanted since i was 9 yrs old, and it felt like 'mission accomplished'... i could never understand all those people talking about a 'Two Dat' or whatever; that one SB victory will keep me warm for the rest of my days... also, being a season ticket holder for both the Tigers and Saints, to say that there is no comparison between the two gameday experiences would be an understatement ; i still love being in the Dome for a good Saints game, but an LSU home game at night is ... special... and the fact that every single Saints home game this year is at freaking Noon on Sunday is a real bummer; even though I dont live far from the Dome, you just have to wake up too damn early on a Sunday to meet with whoever and get to the game, forget doing any pregaming or tailgating... Dont have that problem with LSU, with rare exception.

Quiet, though it helped that the lone Tennessee fan in our office was off this week.

We're kind of all over. LSU, UCLA, Cal, Stanford and one Auburn guy. Me and the Auburn guy talk football. He also happens to be the President of our global division. Not a bad guy to talk football with. We'll have our annual coffee bet on the LSU/Auburn game.
