It blows my mind every time I think about it. New York City went from the largest(Muslim) terrorist attack in history to electing a Muslim mayor in 25 years.make it make sense.
When Obama was in the cia he played a character on tv known as “Osama bin Laden”

Well for about 20 years we gave them targets in their home countries.

The muslims are behaving themselves until they see their opportunity....

By limiting the amount of shampoo you can carry onboard and confiscating nail clippers.

We just didn't allow it to happen since then.

They’ve acknowledged that the US is too big for attacks like that. They switched to more of an infiltration approach that will allow us to decay overtime.
We also financially back most of those extremist groups so that probably helps as well.

I think they realize that passengers aren’t gonna just sit around if someone tries to enter the cockpit.
The days of “just do what they want” have been over since 9/11.

Like $3MM sent to Pakistan for "transgender studies"?

Those CIA hit squads that meet on Tuesday mornings

The next 9/11 will be some sort of mass drone attack on a large crowd or a building. I'm very surprised it hasn't already happened as it seems like it would be much easier to pull off than 9/11. It frightens the hell out of me.

It’s honestly a fricking miracle.
Nobody has the will to do what it takes to avoid another 9/11.
Only a matter of time.

It wasn’t a Muslim terrorist attack. Some people did some things

Changes in security pretty much makes another 9/11 impossible.....don't mean bullshite TSA rules I mean things like locking the cockpit for the flight.
Dunno why they haven't hit at middle America, like shooting up a mall or something.
But in all honesty, the reason is probably how the US reacted to the Taliban. They didn't actually do it, but they were merely associated with the leader who did organize it. No one wants to risk that heat, so they probably suppress people who might want to try.
Additionally, for most of the time period, we had a situation where you didn't need to fly across the globe to kill Americans if you were so inclined. Just go to Iraq/Afghanistan.

TSA is simply theater. Does nothing to improve security on air travel.

By not freely allowing it to happen again. Yet.

Vigilance and luck.
We only avoided having a plane blow up over Detroit because the shoe bomber fricked up then got restrained by the other passengers.

Yeah, it would be tough to do that type of attack again.
I guess I meant a large-scale attack of any kind. Like the Boston marathon bombing but times 10. Or a packed stadium. Public transportation. Etc.
