What state?

Louisiana, California, and New York are all hard as hell.

South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Alabama are all pretty easy.

No Bar exam is “easy”

AOC passed it so it can’t be that hard.

Say what?

She has an economics degree from Boston University...not to be confused with Boston College. Amazing since she is clueless on economic matters.

AOC has never taken and passed a bar exam. I doubt she could pass a Civil Service exam.

They test you on material that is a mile wide and an inch deep. You don’t have to know a lot about anything. You just have to know a little about a lot.

I'll admit it. Went right over my head.

It’s not hard if you prepare and “practice” the test. It’s more strategy over substance.

The bar exam questions are a lot easier than the questions on the regular LSU law school exams. The hard part is that you have to know 3 years of material at the same time. When I took it (100 years ago) I was surprised at how easy the questions were.

She doesn’t even have a true economics degree, she has something like a BA in International studies with a emphasis in Economics.

I really don’t think you could make a test more difficult than the CPA exam.

You do realize that just because Boston College is in the ACC, and because you recognize them from sports, does not mean it is a better school than Boston University, right?

BU is a damned good school, and better than BC by some margin.

1. More than half the states have the exact same bar exam. AL and a few others have the lowest passing score (260 out of 400). Alaska has the highest at 280. NY is tied with a bunch for 2nd lowest at 266.

2. LA isn't the hardest but it's the worst. It's the longest at 21.5 hours total on MWF and mostly essay writing. Most other states are 12 hours long (2 straight 6 hour days). And for every damn state except LA, 6 hours are the exact same multiple choice questions.

3. You don't have to take the bar exam in Wisconsin if you go to law school there.

If you paid attention in law school and halfway studied for it, it is more of a pain in the arse than anything else. Think of it as the initiation ceremony after a fraternity Hell Week.

My takeaway from the multistate portion is 50 of the questions were easy, 50 were impossible, and 100 were a coin flip between two answers. That is where you make it or don't. If your state has a written portion, that is tough to prep for because there can be so many different topics.
