For real.

I'm a chick and I managed to do it.

But I also beat most of you in FF this year. So there's that. ;)

It's barely 4 hours. Less than 4 hours from the bridge to the beltway.

If you have trouble with that you're what the French call.... a bitch.

We need a buc-ee's on the Louisiana side. Almost pissed myself trying to make it a couple of times.

Also, be sure to stop off at the Lion's Den.

Ya, I'm going to have to stop. I got the bladder of a walnut.

Really easy, unfortunately driving from Houston back to the shithole that is Baton Rouge is a lot tougher.

It's pretty hard. I wouldn't do it if I were you. Driving a car is dangerous.

24th day on the trail to Houston. Running low on supplies. Indian scouts reports signs of a Stuckey's near Lake Charles. Old man McGonnigle was killed by bandits yesterday near a settlement called Welsh. But we will push on. With faith in our lord we will prevail.

It's not that far.

If you get scared just let your husband drive.

The basin bridge is awesome, you can drive as fast as you want, big trucks have to stay to the right, and there's never any cops for like 20 miles! Good luck

Not bad. A lot to see so that makes the trip go by quick.
Put some stand up comedy on the radio and any trip flies by.

Also. Google Maps "Show Traffic" is your best friend when going east or west on the long bridge between Laf. and BR. If there's a wreck it's a parking lot.

The hardest part is getting out of BR. There always seems to be an accident or huge traffic jam when I want to go to Houston. It always seems to be on this side of the bridge, except that one time that two 18-wheelers--traveling in different directions--had a head on collision and decided to blow the he'll up a few miles passed Hwy 1....that was a very long trip to Houston...
