My cousin was in line to be a pilot at the air force academy. They told him he was too tall. He bailed on them and went to dental school. He's richer than three feet up a cow's arse.
Dentist > pilot.
Dentist > pilot.

Col Thibodeaux flew with Robin Olds. Then came home to command the 122 at Belle Chase.
If you want to be a fighter pilot check Mondays with Mover as posted previously. If one is serious, there is a path. If you are trolling well,,,,,,,,

It's impossible, unless you want to do more than anything in the world. If you don't, you won't make it.

I have a buddy who lives in Houston TX now.
We went CHS in BTR together.
He graduated West Point as an officer. He was an Apache driver in both Iraq and Afghan.
He’s a smart dude. Super athletic.
He got out of service and is in finance in Houston now.
He told me he’d never fly a bird again when I tried to get him to think about starting our own snow tour business.
I learned from him that it is harder to get shot at than it is to get shot in.

A friend is a retired AF COL. Now flying for United. He was a fighter jock and then transitioned to instructor. He’s scary smart and an all around great guy.
Now the test pilots... they are engineers who happen to fly. I knew one and he was one of the most disciplined people I e ever known.

The one thing we know for sure is there are no fighter pilots down in Hell.

Top 10% of military flight school
There are more pro baseball players than there are fighter pilots in the us
The other way around, not so much

they'd all have to get their degrees and pass drug tests
re: above pic, John Glenn said Ted Williams was the best "natural born" pilot he had ever seen, but alas, Ted was just a wing man
