Takes 20 minutes to get to work on average... about 30 minutes to get home.

I think 30 minutes each way is about all I could stand.

55 miles, hour and ten minutes. It has it's advantages and disadvantages. In the mornings it sucks, in the evenings it gives me time to decompress from work.

Sometimes I think if I didn't have that time in between leaving work and getting home I would wind up being a dick to my family, or turn up a whiskey bottle.

I live in East TX, work in West TX/East NM so it's about 8 hours and then once I'm out here I drive anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour to the job site.

I was commuting 60 miles round trip in dallas, which was anywhere from 1.5-3 hours a day. New job and new apartment has afforded me a 1 mile round trip commute. my wallet and sanity are saved.

I commuted from Howe to Grand Prairie for a few months, talk about miserable. I didn't have a toll tag either, it was something like $30 each way; good thing the company was picking up that one.
