How far back in time could an above average modern man go before he would turn into a wuss

Just something I’ve been thinking about lately. It’s hard to say for sure because the world was bigger and depending on your location, people had wildly different circumstances.
I’d say most would be fine in the 19th century. It’s relatively similar to today.
I think the 18th century is a bit more difficult to gauge, especially depending on what class.

You see, I thought about air conditioning, but homes were built differently to provide natural air conditioning
Also, people were a bit smarter in terms of being comfortable with nature. They wore clothes suitable to the condition and they were used to it.

Yeah right..I lived in a house that had one of giant attic fans that had louvers in the ceiling. The fan would open the louvers and suck air into the house. That shite didn't cut it with me. It was ok for about a couple of weeks of the year. A/C is defiantly the Achilles heal.

I'm a modern younger middle aged man...
I would gladly frick up any time period for the last 16,000 years...
I'd like to see shite before that whatever hit Greenland 12,000 years ago and started great floods followed by ice ages and shite...
I'm down with Sumerian times, Egyptian times, Greek times, Roman times, and on into the middle ages...
But when that black plague comes, I'm checking the frick out for 2 centuries...

Thinking about A/C..I had a friend from High School and his father refused to put in an A/C in their house. He could easily afford to but refused. A partner in his company paid to have a central one put in his house. Hated going over there because I would sweat my arse off...(no fatty).
