Is there an early screening test? Seems like most folks who get this only fund out once it's too late.

Trust me. If these people could work they would. My cousin only gets 3k a month in disability and the annuity from the settlement barely covers his house, truck, and boat note. When he went to the dmv to get food stamps they told him he didn’t have a “color card” and denied him, whatever that is.

My reading of the research is that fibromyalgia is probably real, but most people with the diagnosis probably don’t actually have it.

I don’t believe there is a test for that.

There is a test. Look up FM/a Test. Can be done via a blood test.

Earliest I’ve seen it tested for was 27, or right when you get off your parent’s insurance. And yes, if caught soon enough, it can be treated. Lots of people have gone on to live normal productive lives when treated properly.

I think you just tell somebody you have it and then boom you’re a sufferer.

Edit: just checked some health journals. I was right on the money. Godspeed.

Worked with roughly 13 neurologists in my career and NONE of them believe it’s a real disease.

Neurologists don't treat fibro, that's rheumatologists. I would be more interested in hearing what they have to say about it.

This. 99% of those that think they have "fibromyalgia" are just screwed up in the head and prone to anxiety.

The medical terminology for Fibromyalgia is Whiny White Woman Syndrome.

Well....maybe get rid of the boat. If you can't sit in an office and work, seems to me you'd have a hard time launching a boat and fishing.
$3k/month after you've already mostly paid for your house and car, isn't chump change.
