No it is absolutely conscious. The rap industry is crazy at times, but they know how to make money. They 100% know exactly what is going to sell and how to make a hit. Whether we like it or not I have to give them credit for that

Most popular streamers are in pretty decent shape, same goes for many of the top players at tourneys from what I've seen as well. The fat neckbeard in their mom's basement is an outdated stereotype, and besides those arent the types to make successful careers out of it anyway.

You burn an average of 62 calories playing video games in an hour. These guys who love video games and play 10+ hours a day burn 620 hours just off of video games. With the right diet, these guys stay in decent/average shape. This tulane kid is just basing his own biases into what’s dumb and what isn’t. That rapper remark is a key indicator of his stupidity

What does that make you? You are the guy bragging in the Amazon thread you could do your job in 20 hours a week. The top gamers put in at least 3X (usually much more) the time you do for their job. They aren't the lazy ones.

But it is a job. There aren't a lot of high paying jobs where you physically work your arse off, some but not many. Do we call coders or doctors lazy just because they don't burn 4,000 calories a day at work?

I’m 25 and I think it’s cool.
I don’t follow any teams but I follow a couple cod pros on YouTube and they live awesome lives.
They get to compete for millions and stream when they’re casually playing for fun with their friends making hundreds of thousands more. It’s unreal.
Most of their day is free so they get plenty of time for the gym and other do other daytime activities then stream for a couple hours a night and make bank

If you follow any pro gamers you’d know they have lives. Probably do a lot more traveling and other cool shite than your average Joe because they can afford it.

Im guessing because its pretty much always been associated with kids, potheads and the unemployable. People who would rather sit at home than actually work. Its not a sport, just like golf ain't a sport or nascar. But you can make money in it its just very hard. Kinda equals to those guys who think their garage bands will make it so they dont work and freeload and their chances of making it are astronomical.
