And in the words of Michael Scott

In the summer with the cool on, if the thermostat says it’s 71 it’s borderline steamy, but in the winter with the heat on, if the thermostat says it’s 71 it’s borderline cold.

Shouldn’t it feel the same either way? I have to set the temp colder in the summer and hotter in the winter, done make no sense.

You said it in your post....the answer lies in the amount of humidity that’s in the air. When I liver in the western states it was far more comfortable.

They don't work. It's actually all a placebo effect.

They both work by removing heat.

Witchcraft.
I hear it involves pig knuckles and a dead chicken.

Your chart lies. No process is truly adiabatic. We just pretend it is to make the math easier.

Also, that chart has a "hot water heater". I have tact, so I will refrain from pointing out how fricking stupid that is.

Sometimes I wonder how some of you get up and dress yourselves every morning.

My mom has been dead for decades. Thanks for reminding me of that fact.

My name is jack and I’m a necrophiliac. If it makes you feel better she says hi.
