Is the cause of death? Does he crack the chest or is there an alternative way to determine that?

If an autopsy is done, the affected portion of the heart will be dead. Take biopsies of it and see under the microscope.

Nice try. I’m not helping you cover up a murder.

Dont know, but from all the crime shows, probably some external clue that leads them to possible causes. i.e. Blue lips, blood shot eyes mean .....

Just use the ol "I was just cleaning my pistol and I didn't realize it was loaded" excuse. It seems to be effective from any indicting charges.

A friend passed in the early morning hours Thursday. By noon they ruled a massive heart attack. I thought that was a pretty quick autopsy.

I mean I’ve watched Dr.G, but I always figured it would take a day or so to determine COD

The heart not beating is a pretty good indicator.

Depends on the situation. My MIL passed away unexpected, but had heart conditions. She didn't have an autopsy, but her Dr called the coroner and they listed that as her cause. Coroner is a family friend to my family and wife's so it wasn't a big deal.

In an autopsy, I have no clue what the steps are, but people above me who have commented seem to have some good ideas.

Pretty sure there are enzymes in the blood released when the heart muscle dies.

A blood sample should reveal it.

blood work.

during a cardiac “event”, the heart produces an enzyme called Triponin.

a dead person with a ridiculously elevated triponin level will likely be labeled as a heart attack victim.

no, i’m not a doctor, but i had a heart attack. and my Triponin levels is how they diagnosed me due to my not having any of the classic symptoms.

How bad did your heart attack hurt? Care to describe it? One of my fears is randomly croaking out in the kitchen lol.
