Wife is 2 inches taller than me. I have never dated a girl shorter than me either. They were either the same height or taller.

My prom date, who I later discovered was a lesbian that I had been set up with via her current spouse, was about eye level with me while she was in heels. Honestly, it was just a tad bit intimidating.
Then again, some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in-person were north of 5'10".

My wife and most women I've been with are the same height or taller than me. No big deal. But I'm 100% alpha and my "aura" projects about 6'8".
