Wat, I have noticed most HR people are women. But i just want a job at this point.
HR doesnt seem to be that bad. cant be a worse headache than other jobs .

You want to get into a field where a major component of your job is to listen to people cry all day? Not high pay, either.

If you don't have an empathy score of 10/10 that will be a living hell for you.
Oh, but back to your question...yes, entry level is the way to go in any field if you do not have connections and want to advance.

The major component of HR is to keep the company from being sued. It's a miserable, highly bureaucratic field full of a bunch of morons.

Get any certificates you qualify for, and you will most likely need to start low to gain experience.
Another option would be to apply to small companies that have a consolidated accounting)HR function. But, you'll need to be comfortable with the accounting work (most are bookkeeper level w minimal decision making)

You know the difference between a debit and credit, and what assets, liabilities, and equity are? If so, get familiar with quickbooks and apply
