Salt, pepper. Butter at the end.

Montreal steak seasoning is also very good. Always put butter on at the end. If I'm feeding particularly culinary I'll make a fancy compound butter

I actually try different methods because there is no one way is the best way. I love steak and the great thing about it is there’s so many ways to prepare and cook it.

I have a whole cabinet full of different seasonings. I’ve never had a bad steak that I cooked

But if I’m cooking for a group of people I keep it simple where you aren’t likely to go wrong. Salt, pepper , garlic or my go to seasoning blend which is Does steak seasoning

But heavy on the aromatics for me but I am a Sous vide kinda guy myself. Usually about 128 and then pat it dry. Wait 30 mins then sear the he’ll out of it.

I’m going to help you out.

1) Hardcore Carnivore black seasoning on all sides. Nothing else needed

2) melt tallow in a cast iron pan. Get it really hot

3) cook for roughly few mins each side… till it’s rarer than you would eat it.

4) rest it in a loose pocket of foil for another 5 mins or so

5) return to board and thank me.

I salt the day before, pepper and butter after cooking. Honestly, just the salt is fine for a good steak.

I've triple checked with 3 different Ruth Chris' kitchens & was confirmed by all 3 that each steak after it is seasoned....lots of butter...... it is put in a zip lock bag & placed on top of the large refrigerator in each kitchen .For 30+ minutes. Something with the heat chemically reacting to the steak's marinade gives in extra bump in taste.

There isn’t a thing wrong with Montreal seasoning as far as I’m concerned.

Salt, pepper, baste with butter... If I'm feeling a little crazy I'll throw some thyme and a garlic clove in with the butter.

Imagine being so self conscious you come back to a thread hours later with a staged photo in response to a very obvious joke.

Some of you should try living real life. Sad, sad stuff

Montreal steak seasoning is pretty decent on any steak.

Yep Montreal, olive oil, and a little Red Wine marinade for Filets is perfect.
