The fact that you had to chase your dog around tells me the basics aren’t established.
If the dog is more than 12 weeks old the commands of sit, come, and down should be pretty well established. I used to train to sit then stay, but I figured sit means sit until I release you. Now that’s how I train my dogs.
They aren’t perfect at 12 weeks but 70% or so. By 5 or 6 months they are steady at the line.
You leaving something like that out around an undertrained dog isn’t the dog’s fault. Punish yourself.

It's really simple... you train and love your dog not punish. Punishment doesn't mean the same to them as it would let's say a child, the association of punishment to an act in the past just doesn't register the same.

Don’t ever beat your dog. We don’t deserve the love and loyalty that dogs give us.. total devotion and protection…

I don't and you can tell, he's the most spoiled person in the house.

If that's how you're using the crate I suggest you stop. The crate is supposed to be a safe space not punishment.

I say bad dog, bad dog several times in a low growling voice. I read once that is how the mama dog scolds the pups by growling and I usually get the head down response from Apollo.

Fricking dumb mother frickers think you can reason with a shite eater.
TriTronics can, however, reason with them quite efficiently.

How, exactly, did you let her know? Did you tell her? Reason with her? How?

They are supposed to be smart dogs. I wasn't sure whether this was true until I saw this thread.

Threw her on the ground, put my forearm across her neck while putting my weight on her body to hold her down and didn't let her move a muscle until she submitted.
I'm not going to raise a shithead dog.

Positive reinforcement when he does good. Started teaching him as a puppy. Only negative thing I've ever done was crack a folded belt (like my dad used to do). To this day if I say or show a belt, he goes to his kennel.
