I assume they are homeless because they would rather be homeless than have any responsibilities.

I feel our society does a poor job handling the mentally ill.

My question for y’all is, how do you personally feel when you see a homeless person?
A little sad.
Revulsion? Sometimes.
Sympathy? Sometimes

Do you give them money or food, or even a job? No
Do you wonder how they got to be in that situation in the first place? Sometimes

They have more than their share in California for this very reason. Nancy and Kamala gonna take care of all of them.

I like to give them old celebration station tokens. Or car wash tokens.

I just want them somewhere else other than the street. I don't get all emotional driving by them, and I am not going to hand out cash.

6 diff homeless people approached me yesterday at one 7-Eleven in Dallas as I walked from the pump to inside the store. I’m sick of them. They’re everywhere, and nothing can be done about them. I feel for them but it’s become a nuisance

Disgusted. Get that off the street along with the other trash.

Pissed off because people keep giving them money so they keep coming back.

Feel sorry for the mentally ill. No sympathy for those who are there because they refuse to clean up enough to get into a shelter or housing

Villages send their troublemakers here by ferry and its a huge problem.for locals.

We have a huge mental health problem in the U.S.

Someone breaks a leg you treat the leg. Someone has a brain malfunction , what we do? Discard them like trash

There's a woman with a "Please Help - Homeless" sign who intermittently stands at the exit to a popular shopping center not far from my work. Saw her there today, in fact.

She's always clean, not too shabbily dressed - today she was in a tank top, jean shorts (not cutoffs) and hiking boots. Every time I've seen her she's had her long brown hair pulled through a baseball cap.

She's white, looks to be in her mid-to-late 20s, early 30s at the oldest. Actually has a cute face and a not-unattractive body.

She doesn't fit the typical homeless person profile at all. I often wonder what her backstory is.
