This bush fad is disturbing. I don’t want to hear this “it’s natural” bullshite, so is hairy legs and hairy armpits. To me, a hairy bush is equivilant to that. Give me waxed alllllll day!!!!

Agree 100%.
I was a young single guy in the time period you mentioned, at the very moment in time that this transition was occurring.. i can remember seeing a bald vajayjay for the first time in bed with some random in around ‘99, and it was disconcerting, to say the least.. i wasnt gonna turn it down of course, but i wasnt a fan.
I also remember having a girlfriend around ‘0o who had an awesome, pear-shaped dark bush.. and one night she took me into the bathroom, started to run the bath, handed me a razor and told me to ge to work... that was kinda fun, and the nookie was a little different when freshly shaved, and different is rarely bad.. still, i was happy when the stubble started to come in and she eventually grew it back.
In the 18 or 19 yrs since, it’s been a mixed bag, but i’d say it’s been about a 50/50 split between hairy and bald.. glad the tide is starting to swing back fully to a nicely maintained bush though.
