How do we fix this? How can we stop all this chaos and division?

Severe and drastic action is now the ONLY thing that will pull this country from ruin.
Someone will have to make some tough calls if we expect to rid ourselves of this hatred and division. I wish there was another way but there isn't.
We've got entire football teams honoring the life of a rapist. Cities are burning in the name of peace?? How have people allowed themselves to get SO misguided?
I think the answer is simple. Pressure. Pressure from a group of outspoken, ignorant, bigoted group of entitled people with nothing better to do. Social media has become thier weapon. "political correctness" has been skewed into a form of pandering and patronizing that has made many of us turn our backs on our better judgement.
Look at Drew Brees, he went from standing up for his beliefs regarding the flag and kneeling to wearing the name of a rapist on his helmet. Not even Drew Brees is immune to the onslaught of opinions that suddenly have the power to bury a good man. We have lost our spine. Its only a matter of time before our freedom follows.

This country desperately needs a legitimate leader.
The only place that can come from, is from the large majority of moderates in this country.
But moderates are hated by both sides, and can't raise enough money to get heard.
So, this will continue, until some massive tragedy happens that eliminates us all.

Seriously...just talk. Most of the time you end up finding a middle ground when you talk about things with most people.
We stopped talking and started shouting. Now people are divided because you can not hold real conversations about serious issues.

Idk...Its hard to speak out and try to talk things out with people especially when there is an actual threat of losing your job just for offering a differing opinion or questioning their version of the truth. Its especially hard if you have kids and you are trying to engage with people that have absolutely nothing at stake and nothing to lose.
