How different are you from someone playing dress up on Halloween?

So I went to a few company meetings today and noticed something very peculiar.

I go into the first meeting today and 6 of 10 people are dressed like "vampires":

1. They each have plastic fangs on
2. They each have a black cape
3. They each have slicked back hair
4. They are each speaking with an eastern European accent
5. They each have powered white faces

It made me wonder, are these real people or are they just actors with little to no self identity?

Then I go into another meeting and 8 out of 10 people are "Werewolves":

1. They all have furry faces and hands
2. They all have claws
3. They all have a double of fangs

But when I asked are you all "werewolves"?, 2 got upset saying, "We are wookies, a-hole!"


Then I go to another meeting and 6 out of 10 are "modern men"

1. they are all wearing plaid shirts
2. they are all wearing skinny jeans
3. they all speak in superlatives
4. they all have dietary restrictions

it again made me wonder again, are these real people or are they just playing dress up? Have a few meetings tomorrow with baws, feminists, and BLMs. I wonder if I'll be able to tell them apart?
