At a job interview- it was love at first sight (for me)- I chased her for 9 months and she came around and decided she wanted to 'make out with me'- the rest is history almost 12 years later.

Softball field on coed teams. I saw this girl make a play at 3B. She was terrific and I stopped to watch a few innings of her game. An hour later she and her friends came into the local watering hole. We said hello and I invited her friends to sit with me and mine. BSed some. Then saw her at work a week later and started talking. It went great from there.

Introduced at work. Same building but different employers. I was interested but did not call right away because she had her wisdom teeth cut out the day after we met. Figured I'd give her time to heal up.
Friend/busybody who introduced us told me the girl thought I wasn't interested since I had not asked her out yet. I went up to her office and asked her out in front of her coworkers. I got a lot of bravery points and a future wife out of the deal.

Neither one of us had a premium account, but for free you could send a person an "icebreaker" which was basically a one liner letting them know you like their profile.
She ended up sending me an icebreaker and the only thing it showed was her picture and city she lived in. So I did a search on MySpace (pre Facebook days) for her name and city and ended up matching the profile picture with the one on yahoo personals. Now we have two kids and make three years of marriage this year.
