I remember a moment like that. I was driving down government street and this Asian chick...maybe 18, was walking and she was just...EVERYTHING was too short.
And my first thought was not one of depraved deviance, but "young lady you need to march right back home and put something appropriate on."

When the moms on a college campus started looking better than the coeds.

Or go tailgating at LSU and all of the coeds are the same age as your daughters
Basically when you reach the age when everyone from 15 to 25 all look the same age.

None of this happened to me till I hit me 50s.

Yep. There comes an age where you view college age females as girls, and not women.

39 is still a young buck. I felt it when I hit 55. I’m 57 now and it seems to be picking up steam like a snowball rolling downhill as I head towards 60. It sneaks up on you. I still felt pretty youthful at 50.

If you’re 39 stop worrying about this. Seriously.

When the things I used to find fun - I find boring.
When the things I used to find boring - I find somewhat less boring.
I'm not in such a hurry, but I am more efficient.
When I started caring about fiber intake.
When I had to ask strangers what was on a label, because I forgot my reading glasses.
When I get pissed off because someone moved my toolbox. My wife assures me that she didn't touch it, but who else did it!? Damn it... I probably did it... What am I mad about?

For me it was the day I had to ask the kid down the street to help me hold up the truck tire while I aligned the hub with the lug nuts. I could hold the tire up and I could align the holes, but I could not do both at the same time.

I had 20/20 vision my whole life but needed readers around 45. I'm going to the eye doctor in a few weeks and will likely be graduating from readers
