Did you keep it secret the whole time?

Did you pack it in and set the cruise control?

Asking for my cousin…..

Keep your mouth shut and do the job you are accepting a paycheck for.

And give your two weeks notice to resign.

Simple.

Download as many documents and company secrets as you can. Work hard and act invested.

Then 2 week notice.

Not all jobs are the same. It depends. If it’s a large corporation or government agency? I wouldn’t say anything until my 2 weeks notice.

I would be stealing (umm, liberating) staples, pens, copy paper, and in the evening, when I was the last one in the office, I would be stealing memory out of the computers. I call it field expedient severance.

Dont commit yourself to screwing the company. Keep an open mind to buying in and being a revenue generator.

If you find that you are just terrible at your job, youm ight as well quit, but you will probably be terrible at the next job too.

Good luck though.

Head down, do your job, don’t tell anyone until you give your notice. Assume you’ll get walked out the day anyone finds out

Made the decision 3 months out. Gave 1 month notice. Was the best 90 days I had at that company.

Don't say nothing. You will get a very early termination.

Use all vacation, and give notice first day back.
I was nice and professional, gave notice 2 weeks out, had 1.5 weeks vacation banked.
They escorted me out that day.
Didn't pay me my banked vacation.
Never again.
frick loyalty.
It's dog eat dog.

About 3-4 weeks ago a coworker announced they would be taking a new position in a couple of weeks from now.
Then they didn't get the new job.

We are interviewing for their position next week.

I’ve done it both ways. I am in this position again. I’m not saying anything until there is a signed document that says I have another job. For many reasons, experience has taught me, this is the way.
Having said that, usually there is a do it once option to leverage the other opportunity for increased salary, but that comes with some baggage and usually higher expectations of more burdensome work that is often a greater % increase than the salary increase, so you are worse off. Especially if the reason to leave, which it is often, is the direct manager. Only gets worse. Just my 2 cents

Hit on every woman in the office. They'd never seen such sexual harassment.
