How did the term “baby mama” or “baby daddy” work it’s way into everyday conversation
If you think about it, it truly is a trashy way to describe a serious situation. How did this become the proper way to describe a broken family?

T-bird, dats my baby daddy...

Video

Who that is?
That's just my baby daddy
Who that is?
That's just my baby dad
Who that is?
That's just my baby daddy
Who that is?
That's just my baby dad
Who that is?
That's just my baby dad
Who that is?
That's just my baby dad
Who that is?
That's just my baby daddy
Who that is?
T-Bird, that's just my baby daddy
Why everytime I call it's the same thing?
You have to be on the phone with Elaine
Or either Shawna, or Dawna
(T-Bird it ain't like that, it's far off my mind)
When the phone click don't even try girl
Quit lying girl
You must think I'm stupid or either blind girl
'cause something ain't right
And I'm fixing to go
You said y'all broke up a long time ago
And who was L.A. Sno?
(But it ain't nobody, that's just my baby daddy)
Who that is?
That's just my baby daddy…

Just because it's become increasingly common does not mean it's "proper".

Also the term originated from Culcha but is used by all trashies now

Wait. I'm confused. "cultcha" is a sentient being now? Is this y'all's new N-word substitute that pops up every few months?

I use it occasionally in a joking manner when referring to someone that the term applies to and they are usually trashy so it works
