Damn near every single person agrees with what you and the poster right before you said.

Why are people manipulating a movement 99% of people agree with to try and lump other causes on to it?

Media.

They report whatever will get clicks rather than the old days when they had to sell real paper.

Headlines are jacked up and the decision as to what to report has changed dramatically. Thst feeds the extremes to do things that get reported which creates this news cycle of craziness.

Talk to some ex -reporters and you’ll understand what goes on behind the scenes at tv, print, radio and social media reporting.

It’s 2020. If a white person says anything negative about a black person they are labeled a racist. Being labeled a racist ends your career. Therefore only one side of a story gets reported. It’s that simple.

I agree! George Floyd did not deserve to be killed. The policemen Deserve what will be their punishment. They overstepped their boundaries. I’m sure after you read my post, you’ve already forgotten my first two statements. But to answer your question, does everyone know George’s past?

Before he was arrested, he used counterfeit money while under the influence of alcohol to purchase cigarettes. It’s not like he was buying food for himself of his family especially during these tough and weird times. You don’t need cigarettes. He also has a prior history of theft and drugs. In 2007 he held a woman at gunpoint. Gun pointed at her abdomen. How do you think she feels? Where are all the women? Stand up as this is so wrong. Five men posed as city workers and gained access to the woman’s home. He admitted to the crime and served time. Yes we all need to learn to forgive but that’s a lot of criminal activity if you ask me. Don’t know if I could forgive my own blood if they did all of those acts. On top of all of this he also is a PORN STAR! Google it! There’s a sex video of him floating out there.

The other thing that sickens me is as of Monday the family had already raised $7million dollars for funeral services. I have no issues with helping out with funeral services or gofundme. Last I checked, you don’t need that much money. Already the family will probably sue the police department and the city of Minneapolis. Can you imagine the reward. Overnight wealth. In California a small business start a gofundme account for their neighboring business as their business was looted. They got slammed for starting the account for “lack of caring to the movement”.

So while we are all out there chanting his name let’s remember what we are shouting. Yes black lives matter. But I only march for ppl who stand for righteousness. The black cop who was killed the other night... i don’t hear any chants for him. Let’s reevaluate ourselves. Be leaders and not sheep...

When Ferguson happened there weren't nation wide riots. The lockdown and economy lead to these. Floyd was the match to the gasoline.

Because what he was doing before and after the arrest does not fit the narrative. It does the opposite. He was committing a petty crime (passing a fake $20 something we honestly may all be guilty of. never know if he was knowingly passing a fake). The majority of what went wrong was what we will NEVER talk about. Because it involves stereotypes that are true. We've seen it with our own eyes and on Cops and Live PD for years. A black person acting out or showing their arse. I am sure he was struggling, running his mouth. maybe he spit.

None of it matters, but it carries some weight. A cop HAS to be able to handle himself, but then shut it off. If a guy really pisses you off you get about 30 seconds to a minute to exact a toll. THATS IT. Gotta be the hardest part of the job. Guy blows up a family of 4 running in a stolen car. Then runs, then runs his mouth. Has to be hard not to wail on his arse, but that is the job. You get a kick or a jab in or a knee. You don't get to grind a knee into a guys neck for 7-9 minutes.
