“an infamous traffic circle in Ellick that is so large it has its own ecosystem”

A friend of mine used to make a yearly squirrel hunt in that traffic circle,he said he almost always killed the limit. He said it was the dumbest squirrels he ever saw.
His brother would drop him off before daylight and then come pick him up about 10:30.Would drive down next to the trees,my buddy would jump in the truck and then take off.

I’m from Pineville originally and it’s always been “Ellick”. Alexandria has too many syllables ??

It use to bother me, then I realized it’s spelled Alec, but that people tend to pronounce the city as El-exandria.

I have lived in LA most of my life and never knew this referred to Alexandria. I thought it was some small town up in North LA.

Wow.

Maybe we could sell N Louisiana to Arkansas and build a new bridge with the money?

Back in the 80s, I'll bet that mall was wonderful.

I visited there in the 90s several times, and the mall quickly became a no go zone for us.
